👩🍳 How to Make Low-Carb Cheese Buns
Step 1: Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Baking Sheet
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Melt the Cheese
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella and cream cheese.
Microwave on high for 1 minute, stir, then heat for another 30 seconds until fully melted and smooth.
Step 3: Mix the Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 4: Combine Everything
Add the melted cheese mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until mostly combined.
Add the eggs and grated Parmesan, then continue mixing (you may need to knead with your hands) until a smooth, uniform dough forms.
Step 5: Shape the Buns
Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and shape each one into a round bun.
Step 6: Bake
Arrange the buns on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
Step 7: Cool and Serve
Allow the buns to cool slightly before serving.
They’re best enjoyed warm, straight from the oven.
