Cheesy Ground Beef and Rice Casserole

This hearty and comforting casserole makes the perfect weeknight dinner. It’s rich, flavorful, and incredibly easy to put together. A creamy sauce coats the savory ground beef and rice, creating a satisfying dish the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the meat is browned. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Drain off any excess grease.

Step 3: Combine the Ingredients
In a large bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and milk. Add the cooked beef mixture, rice, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until everything is well combined. If desired, fold in the frozen peas.

Step 4: Assemble the Casserole
Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheese on top.

Step 5: Bake
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the top is golden brown.

Step 6: Serve
Let the casserole cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
