1. Preheat Oven & Brown Beef
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
2. Season the Beef
Add the taco seasoning and salsa to the cooked beef, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
3. Mix with Beans and Corn
In a large bowl, combine the seasoned beef with black beans and frozen corn. Stir until evenly mixed.
4. Layer the Casserole
- Spread half of the crushed tortilla chips evenly in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer the beef, bean, and corn mixture over the chips.
- Sprinkle with half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Add the remaining crushed tortilla chips on top, followed by the rest of the cheese.
