Ingredients:

  • Unsalted butter, softened – 1 cup
  • Granulated sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Packed brown sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
  • Large eggs – 2
  • All-purpose flour – 2 1/4 cups
  • Baking soda – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • High-quality chocolate chips – 2 cups
  • Chopped nuts (optional) – 1 cup
  • Flaky sea salt for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
