👩🍳 How To Make Stuffing Balls
Step 1: Preheat Oven & Sauté Vegetables
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and coat a baking sheet with nonstick spray. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 10 minutes. Stir in the chopped celery, parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Continue cooking for 5 more minutes, stirring often. Remove from heat.
Step 2: Combine Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the toasted low-carb bread and cornbread stuffing. Mix well. Add the beaten egg and ¾ cup of chicken broth, stirring to moisten. Add the sautéed vegetable mixture and mix until fully combined.
Step 3: Form & Bake
Shape the mixture into small balls using your hands and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes at 375°F (190°C).
Step 4: Finish Baking
Carefully pour the remaining chicken broth over the stuffing balls. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the stuffing balls are golden brown and set.
Step 5: Serve & Enjoy
Serve warm as a festive, flavorful side dish that’s perfect for holidays or any special meal.
