Georgia Browns are an indulgent confection made with toasted pecans coated in smooth chocolate and finished with a drizzle of rich caramel. The blend of nutty, sweet, and buttery flavors creates a truly irresistible dessert experience.


📝 Ingredients

Pecans & Chocolate

Caramel

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Pecans
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Spread the pecan halves on a baking sheet, drizzle with melted butter, and sprinkle with salt.
Toast for 8–10 minutes, stirring halfway through, then allow to cool.

2️⃣ Melt the Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate, stirring occasionally until smooth.

3️⃣ Make the Caramel
In a medium saucepan, combine water, dark brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, corn syrup, and butter.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.

4️⃣ Assemble the Georgia Browns
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange small clusters of toasted pecans on the sheet.
Spoon melted chocolate over each cluster, then drizzle with caramel.

5️⃣ Chill & Set
Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate and caramel have firmed up.

6️⃣ Serve & Enjoy
Remove from the refrigerator and serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.
