Mix the Cake Batter<\/strong><br>In a large bowl, cream the butter, shortening, and sugar together until light and fluffy.<br>Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.<br>In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.<br>Alternate adding the dry ingredients and milk to the creamed mixture, beginning and ending with the flour.<br>Stir in the vanilla extract until just combined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3.
